We are looking for an ambitious individual with an analytical mindset. The person will work directly with the Controller to preserve and strengthen Frisbees’ financial health.

Candidate must be proficient in: Reconciling bank accounts, reconciling general ledger accounts, understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, daily cash activity oversight, and analysis.

The candidate must have a strong skill set in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of Sage Intacct being a plus. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Salary: $70,000+ (depending on qualifications and experience).

Job Description

Role Overview

Frisbees is seeking an experienced Master Electrician to join our dynamic team at Frisbees, Inc. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our residential electrical department, take on our project bidding procedures, and lead a team of electricians in executing high-quality work with an emphasis on excellent customer service. Your expertise will ensure that our electrical systems are reliable, efficient, and up to code.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements
• Produce estimating takeoffs, assembling finished proposals, and managing projects.
• Follow up on all leads, proposals, and potential sales until closed or lost.
• Establish goals and objectives related to the position, along with a plan of action to attain or exceed set goals. Regularly review and monitor progress against goals, and seek assistance as needed.
• Lead and mentor a team of electricians, providing guidance and training on best practices and safety protocols
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of electrical work
• Stay updated with the latest electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• Valid Master Electrician license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential electrical installation and maintenance
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential electrical bidding processes.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
• Proven experience managing electrical projects from inception to completion

Preferred:

• Strong communication and leadership skills

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting tools and technologies
• Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and practices

Soft Skills and Cultural Fit

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Commitment to promoting a positive culture of safety and compliance

Job Description:

Primary responsibilities are to deliver construction materials and parts to job sites utilizing pickups and stake bed trucks. Once on-site, materials are then hand-carried to the location. This can be a physically demanding job at times, so a strong work ethic is needed. Mechanical aptitude and order-picking/warehousing experience are a plus.

CDL is not required.
